Had an amazing experience today, did a couples spa on short notice. I called them and they scheduled me for an hour later. The masseuses were amazing, I felt muscle knots I did not expect. I am very likely to return again.
A few hours following our message, we were on our way home from our pleasant Wedding Anniversary lunch on the Bay and my husband received a very unprofessional text message from Malahini stating that we should of given them notice that we were using a Groupon at the time that we made the reservation. And that we are "lucky" they didn't turn us away. They recommended we not "cheat" other companies. Apparently in thier policy it says you MUST state you are using a Groupon while booking your appointment. You would think that whoever booked the appointment with my husband would of asked him if he was using a Groupon.
I want to clearly state my husband was never asked if we were using a Groupon at the time of the booking. Two confirmation texts were sent to him and he confirmed both times that he was going to show up to the appointment. Nowhere on the Groupon does it state to refer to thier policies before booking your appointment. Another clear example of how unproessional this business is. Also, I want to add she is complaining about giving us services which would of cost $118. We paid $100 for the groupon and tipped $40. Do the math...does it sound like they were cheated $$$?! Nope! This was a simple misunderstanding!! Following the nasty text she sent my husband hours following our appointment, the owner continues to badger my reviews with invalid points, instead of giving a simple apology on her behalf. If she is so strict about her policies, she should be more clear and to the point when speaking on the phone while booking appointments. This place has zero customer service etiquett. Who acts like this?Unbelievable!!
Staffs are professional and friendly! Services were excellent. Great price!! Will come back again!
The message itself was amazing. Inside the room I could hear everything going on in the lobby. It made it hard for me to relax. And the tranquil music volume was so low, I could barely hear it. Or maybe it's because I was too distracted by the noise in the lobby. Either way, not a relaxing environment for a message.
My husband and I celebrated our five year Wedding Anniversary today. We do a couples massage every year at a different location and use a Groupon. When we arrived at Malahini today and checked in, the lady seemed irratated that we were using a Groupon. As soon as we walked in the first thing she said to us was "You use Groupon, huh, you use Groupon"?!?!!
I am appalled this business went out of thier way to be very rude and disrespectful AFTER they accepted our Groupon, gave us services and took thier 40% tip. Very unprofessional!
